what is circle sunday

A Circle Sunday turns tradtional church services on their heels.  A traditional church service relies on a pastor or other "paid expert" to present a perfectly planned presentation of spiritual revelation.  At best these presentations can be both inspiring, instructive, and formative.  All too often, they are predictable, even mundane.

On Circle Sundays at epic church, instead of a single speaker, everyone speaks!  We take out the rows of chairs and bring in the round tables.  Then, the single speaker is replaced with a few conversation prompts and some resources to both equip and direct a comfortable and meaningful dialogue between seasoned believers, occasional church-goers, and those still searching.  At Circle Sunday, the authentic church comes to life and we often find that the conversation is even more meaningful than any preplanned presentations of Christian teaching.

Instead of a paid expert, Circle Sunday relies on the people working out their faith next to us for fresh understanding of Christ and Christianity.

Circle Sundays happen about every 5-8 Sundays, coinciding with new message topics.  Watch facebook to see when Circle Sunday is coming.
