In our effor to show uncommon kindness to our community, epic has taken up the practice of adopting a school campus each year for a kindness focus.  This year we have selected Simas Elementary for this ministry.

 

Simas has accomplished the esteemed position of recording the highest elementary school standardized test scores in the Hanford Elementary School District for the 2005-2006 school year.  Epic's own Theron McDaniel is the Simas Learning Director.

 

Our school adoption kindness consists of a few things.  Firstly, we pray for the entire staff and faculty throughout the year.  Secondly, each teacher and staff member will receive multiple gifts throughout the year letting them know that their sacrificial service is appreciated.  Thirdly, epic will make ourselves available to the student advocate to help meet the needs of students who may have specific needs throughout the year.
