We are very pleased to bring a brand new life group to epic.  Omar and Henna Gonzales have been missionaries for Youth With A Mission.  The completed YWAM discipleship school and have international ministry experience. 

Omar is a Hanford original and Henna if from Finland.  They met through YWAM and were married in Finland.  After spending the first 6 months of their marriage in Finland, it became obvious that Omar's language barrier was going to prevent the couple from fully integrating into the society and would keep him from obtaining the best possible job.  They prayerfully decided to move back to Hanford.  (Henna speaks terrific English.)

Omar and Henna have been a part of epic since the very first worship gathering.  They participate with worship set-up and pack-up.  They have also had an independent home Bible study taking place in their home for several months.  God seemed to be guiding them to transform their Bible study into an epic Life Group, so they called Bruce.  Since Omar and Henna shared the same values for their Bible study as are fundamental to the Life Group philosophy, the transition has been easy.  With a handful of members already in the life group, it only took a couple of Sunday listings in the epic bulletin for the new Life Group to take shape.
