The epic web site now offers a support menu. On this menu are two opportunities for visitors to our site to participate in the launch of this important ministry.

epic is pleased to invite you all to join the prayer team. This team commits to pray for the people of Hanford, the process and progress of launching , and for the Kane family on a daily basis. Each member of the team receives a weekly e-mail to inform them of specific needs. It is the goal of Bruce and Rhonda to have 100 people committed to this prayer team throughout the first 18 months of 's ministry. "This is a mammoth goal," says Bruce, "people like to encourage and support, but prayer is the real power source." Bruce and Rhonda accepted the goal as a God-sized objective, wondering if it was really a pipe dream. God has been faithful though. To date there are more than 70 people committed to the team. Most of these members committed to the team before Bruce and Rhonda could even tell their nearest friends at Life Center.

There is also an opportunity to make financial contributions through the site. This is another critical need of a new ministry. "Ultimately, God's plan is to have a church support its own ministry through good personal financial stewardship," says Bruce. "However, when starting from scratch, a church must rely on Christians in other locations to lend support just as Paul encouraged Christians to do in the context of his own church planting ventures in the New Testament."

At epic, we believe that prayer team members are the very first ministers of epic. The ministry has already begun through them. Thanks to all who have considered and/or committed to either of these support options.
