Donate Gently Used Baby Clothes    -    DUE OCTOBER 2, 2011

With the non-profit organization, Loved Twice, we will collect clothes for needy newborn children in areas affected by recent weather disasters in the US.  Please bring clean, buttoned and folded, unstained clothes through size 12 months to our worship gatherings on Sunday mornings between now and October 1st.  Clothing suggestions: onesies, pants, shirts, sweaters, caps, socks, and booties/soft shoes.  It is important that they be clean and neatly folded when brought in.  One of our life groups will sort and organize boxes to provide a full year's clothing to individual children.  Unfortunately, NO TOYS can be included in the boxes.  However, 1 board book may be included in each.  You may wish to donate one of these.

Senior Serve Day    -     OCTOBER 1 & NOVEMBER 12

Again serving the senior citizens living at Tara Estates, we will offer deep cleaning services, yard work, and basic repairs.  We need some skilled help at installing a new kitchen faucet, and replacing failing outdoor steps.  More information will be upcoming.  Sign up here.

Hope's Pantry    -    DUE OCTOBER 16

Help us to intensify our efforts to supply the Hanford Soup kitchen with necessary supplies for the high-traffic winter months ahead.  Please collect the following items specifically:  egg noodles, rice, canned green beans.  Consider collecting additional donations from co-workers and friends, doing a donation drive at work or in your neighborhood, working together with your life group to purchase industrial sized packages, or some other creative means to put together a greater impact on the need.

Fall Project Homeless Connect    -     NOVEMBER 3

We need help doing basic bicycle repair for the homeless and deeply needy community of Hanford.  Or, you may have an old bike to donate so that we can replace unsalvagable bikes or from which we can scavenge parts.  Bikes in any condition can be donated.  Contact Bruce Kane of John Prys regarding bike donation.  Sign up here.

Monthly Homeless Dinner & Worship Gathering    -     MORE INFORMATION COMING

We are working out the details with Hanford's Salvation Army to assist them in providing our homeless community with much needed help on weekends, when many charities are not providing meals.  If you are interested in this ministry, sign up here.
