To date EPIC has collected $800.00 toward the purchase of the necessary backpacks for our backpack provision project.  The funds are coming from EPIC members, community businesses, EPIC supporters and Revolution Youth (the Glad Tidings Church Youth Ministry).  We are nearly halfway to our necessary budget.  Thanks to our site visitors who gave through our support page, and to those who gave through the mail. 

 

Our team continues to give personal funds toward the project and we will designate all that is needed from our existing ministy fund.  It is very exciting to see this project come together for the needy 7th and 8th graders of Hanford.

 

We are already planning a shoe and winter coat project for Christmas time.  (For those of you Southern Californians, Winter days actually start out in the 30s here.  A student without a coat is in serious need.)
