Missions is the heart of God.  In Mark 16 we are told to go to "every end of the earth" to tell people the good news of Jesus.  Because epic is a community of Christ-follwers, we are big into missions.

 

Brian Larson (part of epic from the first worship gathering) will join Bruce on this year's missions trip.  They are going to Honduras to support some missionaries who have served there for many years.  (Go to the missions page, click on mission events, and read more about these missionaries and this event.)

 

Bruce will be a key not speaker at a first-ever Honduran youth camp.  Brian will share his testimony at that same camp.  This is a great opportunity to assist missionaries in their ongoing mission.

 

While gone, epic will be well cared for by the existing ministry team and will receive the word from our own Scott Peterson.  Your prayer for Brian and Bruce and the missions endeavor are greatly appreciated.  Pray for a stregthening church in Honduras and a strong impact on the teens at this camp.

 

Next year's missions trip is already in the dream phase.  We may be able to join our planted church in Tanzania or work with and AIDS community in Yucatan Mexico.  Maybe next year is your year to go!
