hope's pantry

At epic, we collect food stuffs for the Hanford Soup Kitchen, which is operated at the Church of the Savior Episcopal Church in downtown Hanford. The Hanford Soup Kitchen serves 250 people-in-need EVERY DAY. By donating these food items we join a coalition of servants which includes churches, individuals, businesses, and other groups. Working together, we make it easier for people-in-need to feel God's loving provision and begin to live the life of dignity He intends for them.
Here's the goal: each family at epic donate one of the monthly designated items each week. If each family at epic does this, we deliver about 150 items to the shelter each month. As epic grows and as more people get on board, we can become the reliable and main source for these sustainable items, which frees up donated funds to be used on fresh produce.
